Great Quality, Awesome Bike!!!Jul 24, 2010
By Stephen C. Kilby After spending several months doing research on inexpensive 18 inch bikes, ($80.00 to $120.00) Range I have come to the conclusion that is most cases, you get what you pay for. The 18 inch bikes at the local department stores such as Toys R Us, Target and Wal-Mart were poorly made and always had some kind of defect such as bent cranks, sprockets etc and I wasn't about to disappoint my son this coming Christmas not to mention his safety so I ordered this bike through Amazon.
The bike came neatly package and without any damage and I spent just over an hour putting this bike together. I have been building bikes ever since I was a kid and the brakes were a bit tricky to adjust but if you are worried about putting a bike like this together, you can always take it down to a local bike shop and have them do it for you.
The bike is much better quality that what you would find at your local department store and I understand like most parents now a days, cost is always a factor but if you looking for a good quality bike that will last a long time for your child who is too large to ride a 16 inch bike and too small to ride a 20 inch bike, then this is the bike for you. As a reference, my son has a 19 inch inseam so this bike is perfect for him.

Great entry level bikeMay 22, 2010
By David Bought this for my son who's been riding his older brothers old Haro for about a year and he loves it. It came with great instructions on how to assemble the bike and even "defloppinate" the gyro.....
I'm sure we'll upgrade some things like a smaller sprocket, slightly beefier chain, but for now, He's riding it at the skate/bike park and learning a few new tricks.

Good product for the cost!!!Mar 07, 2011
By Kim My son was so excited when his bike came. He is fairly new at riding bmx bikes and when he saw that awesome blue bike, he was ecstatic! It was very easy to put together. The shipping was fast and no damage to anything. The only issues I have is that there are some cheap parts on the bike, and there is no kickstand. Also, the front wheel keeps getting lose, so when you put it together, I suggest you get a really strong man to tighten it or get a torque wrench. It's actually really dangerous cause if it comes apart when my son is riding, well the outcome won't be good. Otherwise the bike is pretty good for the price. But overall my son and all his friends think it's the coolest one out of the bunch, and they have some expensive bikes!
NIce bike but no assembly instructions includedDec 23, 2010
By AHayes I got this bike for my 9-year old daughter. She hasn't received it yet but she will most likely be very happy. Assembly is pretty easy . . .attach pedals, seat, handle bar, front wheel, but I've gotten stuck on attaching the brake cable and there are no instructions included.
