Great for the priceAug 25, 2011
By Cate I was in desperate need of a bike and cash-strapped last year, so a friend of mine gave me an old kid's road bike (I'm short enough to still ride it comfortably). The tires were very much damaged and rotted, so I ordered new tubes and these tires. For the price, my expectations were not high- I figured they'd wear or give out on me and the tread would be mediocre. Surprisingly enough, these tires have held up very well over a year of daily riding. The tire has pretty decent traction and is big enough to keep me from being rocked by every pothole or crevice I ride over, while still being lean enough to be street effective. Granted my situation is a bit unusual (I'm assuming potential buyers would be looking getting these for their children's bikes), but I hope this at least conveyed a pretty good tire at a good price.
